What is Tired Koala?
A small software studio building AI-powered apps for daily life. One problem per app. Done right. We'd rather ship one great thing than ten average ones.
What does 'Tired Koala' mean?
A koala sleeps 22 hours a day — not because it's lazy, but because it found its eucalyptus and optimised everything around it. We're tired of apps that do too much and deliver too little. Same energy.
Most apps never find their eucalyptus. They keep adding features, hoping something sticks. We'd rather find the one thing that makes your day genuinely easier and build it better than anyone thought necessary. That's what we mean by same energy — not laziness, but radical focus.
When does Koala 001 launch?
Soon. We know everyone says that. We mean it. Follow us on Instagram, X, or TikTok — we'll make some noise when it's ready. You won't miss it.
Are you hiring?
Not formally. But if you're a builder who gets genuinely annoyed by bad software and has strong opinions about how to fix it — say hello. We read everything.
Can I invest?

Why AI? Isn't everyone doing AI?
Yes. Most of them are lying. We use AI where it genuinely makes the product better — not as a marketing bullet point. If it doesn't meaningfully improve the app, it doesn't ship.
Where are you based?
Somewhere in the Alps. The koala is not native to this region but has adapted surprisingly well. No office, no commute — just mountains, trees, and a decent internet connection.
